Our 100% Live Arrival Guarantee
At Game Birds Farm, the health and safety of our birds are our top priority. We take every precaution to ensure your new breeding stock arrives at your coop in peak condition.
Our Commitment to You
Shipping live poultry requires expertise, care, and a deep respect for the animals. We have years of experience shipping across the United States. We don’t just “ship” birds; we prepare them for a journey.
Every bird is hand selected for health before being placed in a specialized, USPS approved ventilated crate. We provide high moisture fruit or specialized gel during transit to ensure they remain hydrated until they reach your hands.
The Terms of the Guarantee
What is Covered
We guarantee that all birds (Chicks, Cocks, Hens, and Waterfowl) will arrive at your designated Post Office alive and healthy. If a bird does not survive the journey, we will provide a replacement or a store credit for the value of the bird.
What is Not Covered
Shipping Costs: While we replace or credit the bird, shipping fees are non-refundable as they are paid directly to the carrier.
Post-Arrival Care: Once the bird has been successfully delivered and safely removed from the Post Office, its health becomes the responsibility of the buyer. We are not responsible for losses due to improper acclimation or existing bio-security issues in the buyer’s coop.
Buyer Requirements
To qualify for a claim, you must meet the following conditions:
Immediate Pickup: You must pick up your birds within 2 hours of being notified by the Post Office that they have arrived.
Immediate Inspection: Inspect your birds at the Post Office or immediately upon reaching your vehicle.
Proof of Loss: In the unfortunate event of a loss, you must provide clear photos and/or video of the bird(s) within the shipping crate.
Timeframe: All claims must be submitted via text or email within 4 hours of the arrival timestamp.
Steps to Take Upon Arrival
1: Preparation. Have a quarantine pen ready with fresh, room-temperature water and high-protein feed before the birds arrive.
2: Hydration. Upon pickup, gently dip each bird’s beak into the water to encourage them to drink immediately.
3: Observation. Keep your new arrivals separate from your existing flock for at least 14 days to ensure they acclimate perfectly to your environment.
